This diagram informs teaching and learning at APS. It shows what our students need to know, understand and do. We believe that the 4 aspects are critically important in order to be successful in life. 

By the end of Year 3 we are establishing each of the 4 core capabilities so students begin to understand and become aware of how to apply them. 

By the end of year 6 we have embedded each of the 4 core capabilities  so students have a deep and broad understanding of each of them and are able to apply these within different contexts and with increasing confidence.
